    Q: What types of providers to you bill for
    A: We specialize in behavioral health providers. That includes MD, APRN, PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMFT, LADC, LPC, etc. We do billing for other types of providers as well such as Chiropractors, Physical Therapist, Speech Therapists, and Occupational Therapists. 
    Q: Does Mediculture guarantee its services? 
    A:  Provided that you comply with each of the requirements set forth in the agreement, Mediculture will advance payment of any eligible claim, not to exceed the amount payable by the insurance company, which is not paid within 90 days after the date of service or treatment. The requirements will be made known at the time of signing of the agreement.


    Q: What insurance carriers do you electronically bill to?
    A: We will bill to any insurance carrier that accepts electronic submissions. We will bill on paper for those that do not accept electronic submissions.

    Q: What if I'm currently using a billing service or software?
    A:  If you are currently using a billing service, we urge you to follow your contractual obligations in breaking the agreement, which is normally a 30 day period. Please refer to your existing contract for the details. If you are using billing software, we can import/export information from most software. We can discuss this process in more detail once you have signed on with us.


    Q: How do I get patient information to you?
    A: We can retrieve patient information several ways. If you are using billing software, we can import/export information from most software. You can also scan, email, fax, or mail the information. We can discuss the transmittal of records at the time of signing.

    Q: How much does your service cost?
    A: We charge a percentage based on the monies that we collect for your practice. Our fees are competitively priced and vary based on the size of your practice. We don't get paid unless you get paid.

    Q: Is there an initial set up fee?
    A: Minimal. Our number one goal is keeping your cost down.

    Q: Do I have to sign an agreement?
    A: You will have to sign a agreement. However, if at any time you are not happy with our service, you can terminate the agreement in writing 30 days prior to the end date.

    Q:Where do checks/correspondence get sent to?
    A: All checks and correspondence such as EOB’s or remittances will be sent to you directly. We will then request that you make copies and send us those copies in the form that you choose, whether it be scan, email, fax or mail.
